A Typical School Day

8:00 a.m.

Fresh from a good night's sleep and hearty breakfast, children begin to arrive. While they catch up with old friends on a new day, watchful teachers supervise.

8:45 - 8:50

Time for assembly, headed by the Principal, Mrs. Bolar. After morning prayer, children walk to their various classrooms.

Class-teachers take attendance and begin teaching

10:10 - 10:20

A short break and then back to class.

12:00 p.m.

After a fun-filled morning, the toddlers trek back home.

12:20 - 1:00

A time for lunch, fun and games. After a rejuvenating break, children go back to classes

2:00 - 3:00

Games period three times a week for classes up to Standard 5, supervised by the energetic Physical Education teacher and the special coaches. Supervised study twice a week to revise and reinforce the week's work .

3:00 - 4:00

Games period for classes 6 to 10 three times a week.

 

Exhausted, but happy, classes upto 5 leave at 3:00. The older children end their school day at 4.00
